Mangalore: In a tragic accident, a woman died after being hit by a truck. culture on Tuesday evening. The deceased is Lavanya, 27. According to police, the accident occurred around 4 p.m. when Shakeel Suvarna was travelling with his wife Lavanya on his scooter. The couple was travelling from Panambur to Kavoor.
As they reached the bridge over the Kuloor river, a container truck, allegedly driving recklessly and without warning, suddenly came from the right side of the road to the left. This resulted in a collision with the scooter, which was on the left side of the road. As a result, both Shakeel and Lavanya were thrown off the scooter. The left rear wheel of the truck went over Lavanya's head. Shakeel sustained minor injuries in the accident.
