Teenager sexually assaulted by 3 men at gunpoint in a moving car in Saharsa; 1 person arrested (VIDEO)

Saharsa (Bihar), September 17: A teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by three men in a moving car in Bihar's Saharsa district, police said on Tuesday. Police arrested one person in connection with the incident in the Sadar area on Tuesday.

“The survivor filed a complaint with Sadar police station on Monday that she was sexually assaulted by three persons at gunpoint in a moving car on the evening of September 14,” Police Commissioner Himanshu told PTI.

“Based on her complaint, a case has been registered and a special investigation team has been set up to investigate the case. The victim has been sent for medical examination and the report is awaited,” he added.

The police have arrested one person in connection with the incident and launched a manhunt for the two remaining accused, the SP said.

The incident is being investigated from all angles, including whether the crime was committed at gunpoint or not. The quad bike allegedly used in the crime has been confiscated, he said.
