Man found in alley with broken arms and legs after ‘gruesome’ attack in Belfast – The Irish News

A man in his 30s was found in an alleyway with broken arms and legs and cuts to his head following a “gruesome” attack in north Belfast on Sunday evening.

The man is in a stable condition in hospital after the incident was reported to the PSNI just after 9pm on Sunday. He was found in an alleyway off Azamor Street in the north of the city.

The officers went to the scene and found the victim seriously injured. According to the police, the injury from the attack was both physical and psychological.

A police spokesman said: “Our investigations are currently underway to determine what happened, who was involved and what the motive was.”

“This man was subjected to a cruel violence that will leave physical and emotional scars and trauma that may never heal. Nothing good will come from this – ever.”
