Earthquake measuring 3.6 magnitude shakes greater Los Angeles with epicenter in Malibu, the USGS said

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) — According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck the Malibu area on Monday morning.

The quake occurred at about 4:22 a.m. at a depth of about eleven kilometers.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.

The light quake occurred several days after a magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck in the same area, shaking much of Southern California.
