He is one of the best-known stars on German television and is enjoying great success with his format “Who's stealing my show?”: Joko Winterscheidt. On Sunday evening (September 15th) the presenter returned with a new episode of the TV hit – and with a real star cast! Also on board were musician Nina Chuba, entertainer Kurt Krömer, podcaster Tommi Schmitt and wildcard winner Verena.

The fact that “Who's Stealing My Show?” is still a ratings hit becomes clear after a look at the ratings. In the target group of 14 to 49 year olds, the show attracted an impressive 0.80 million viewers, as “DWDL” reports. This secured the format around Joko Winterscheidt a market share of 16.3 percent.

The station even managed to take second place in the daytime business in the age group with a market share of 8.6 percent. ProSieben only lost out to RTL (10 percent market share).

But there is not only positive news. The format dropped completely out of the ranking of the 25 most-watched programs among the total audience aged three and over. Overall, the show again performed rather poorly with 1.15 million viewers in this age group, and 5.4 percent was still achieved on the TV market.

The latest edition was undoubtedly a success for ProSieben – no other private broadcaster had anywhere near such high ratings during prime time. Seven days earlier, the start of the eighth season had achieved 21 percent. The previous winter season secured an average of 20.5 percent.

Even after the second episode of “Who's stealing my show?”, TV star Joko Winterscheidt remains the host of his own show. Neither the celebrities nor the wildcard manage to beat the showmaster. In the next episode (September 22nd) the candidates will have another chance to secure victory.
