Man hospitalised after stabbing in Peckham shopping street – South London news

A man was taken to hospital with knife injuries following a stabbing in the early hours of yesterday morning.

At around 5.15am, police were called to a report of a man being stabbed in Rye Lane, Peckham.

When officers arrived, they found the victim collapsed in the street. They performed immediate CPR until the London Ambulance Service crew arrived.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment. The Met has confirmed that his condition is not life-threatening.

No arrests were made and investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.

The streets were closed while the crime scene was being cleared. These closures have since been lifted, but a crime scene still exists.
