The Apple Watch SE 3 is not expected to arrive until 2025 and will be different

Apple announced the new Apple Watch Series 10 at the Apple Event and there was also a black Apple Watch Ultra 2. What was missing, however, was a new Ultra and that isn't due until next year. Like a new Apple Watch SE.

Mark Gurman joins Ming-Chi Kuo in his newsletter for Bloomberg and claims that Apple is no longer considering an annual update for each model. This was already the case with the SE, and it could remain so with the Ultra.

Apple Watch SE 3 made of plastic

But Mark Gurman has repeated an old claim that the Apple Watch SE 3, which will be released in 2025, will be made of plastic. There are still “problems with the cost and quality,” according to the source, but the project is still in development.

An Apple Watch Ultra 3 is not expected for another year, but we don't yet know what the Apple Watch SE 3 will look like. The Apple iPhone SE 4 is due to come out in spring 2025, and an Apple Watch SE 3 would also be a good option.
