Underwear alarm on “Who’s stealing my show?”: Wildcard makes Joko sweat

In the end, it was pretty close: Wildcard Verena was quite dangerous for Joko Winterscheidt in the “Who's stealing my show?” finale of the second episode – but it still wasn't enough for victory!

Although people keep their fingers crossed for the wildcard and fondly remember the spectacular victories of Helena and Svenrik in season 5, only a few of the audience representatives make it to the final against Joko. Svenrik was the last to do so, winning the show in season 5. Now, a year and a half and three seasons later, another wildcard has managed to leave the prominent competition behind: Verena, 30 years old, married, dentist.

After a thrilling duel with podcaster Tommi Schmitt, she moves into the finals – where she makes her opponents sweat! So much so that Joko takes off his coat and reveals a little too much when adjusting his suit: “Oh God. I didn't see that it opens all the way down.”

“I’m wearing underwear!”

Quizmaster Katrin Bauerfeind can't look away: “I saw it…” But Joko immediately gives the all-clear: “I'm wearing underwear!” But that remains the only major faux pas of the evening: In the exciting knowledge duel, the TV presenter defeats his likeable opponent – although Joko himself admits: “I would really wish it for you.” And wildcard Verena? She counters quickly: “You guessed better!” So next Sunday, Joko Winterscheidt will be back behind his presenter's desk.
