Lenox has just released a second edition of its iconic Spice Village | Pre-order now

For several years now, kitchenware collectors and bargain hunters everywhere have been raving about the Lenox Spice Village. These hand-painted porcelain spice jars were discontinued in 1989 and are now almost impossible to find as a complete set. Unless you are lucky enough to spot them in a thrift store, the only way to buy them is to pay a high price for an original set on sites like eBay and Etsy. That was until now.

Lenox has officially announced and published a second edition his iconic Spice Village for pre-order.

If you have signed a petition to bring the animals back, hoped, prayed or searched for them, now is your time. There are several purchase options available. Read below to find out everything we know about the Lenox Spice Village, second edition.

What is Lenox Spice Village?

These spice containers are a nostalgic, whimsical addition to your kitchen. Each container is designed to look like a miniature Victorian house. They are made from fine ivory porcelain and hand-painted with delicate patterns inspired by the spices they contain. You can display them or use them as containers.

Where can I buy the Lenox Spice Village?

You can pre-order the Lenox Spice Village at Lenox And Macy's. Where you buy depends on whether you want the complete set, select six, or a single ceramic spice holder.

Lenox's website gives you the opportunity to use all of the above options, while Macy's currently only offers the four six-piece sets for separate purchase.

How much does Lenox Spice Village cost?

The costs for Lenoxis in addition to taxes:

  • $285.00 and free shipping for the complete 24-glass set
  • $72 plus shipping for a six-piece glass set
  • $15 plus shipping per single Spice Village jar

Costs at Macy's Are $72 and free shipping on any six-piece glass set.

What spices are contained in the village?

Rosemary, oregano, basil, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, saffron, bay leaf, tarragon, ginger, thyme, parsley, marjoram, mustard, clove, coriander, sage, paprika, onion, chives, pepper, celery and dill.

The four sentences are grouped as follows:

Set No. 1: Rosemary, oregano, basil, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg

Set No. 2: Peppers, onions, chives, pepper, celery and dill

Set No. 3: Parsley, marjoram, mustard, cloves, coriander and sage

Set No. 4: Garlic, saffron, bay leaf, tarragon, ginger and thyme

What is not included?

The spices are not included in the jars. While the original 1989 set included a shelf to display the spices, this edition does not.

When will they be shipped?

Your shipping date will depend on the size of your order and where you ordered from.

Out of LenoxDepending on the spice, individual jars will ship as early as February 1, 2025 and as late as May 1, 2025. Six-piece sets will ship on March 15, 2025 and the full 24-piece set will ship on September 15, 2025.

Six-piece sets available from Macy's will be shipped by December 9, 2024.
