Kidnapping: Three persons arrested for kidnapping and raping 20-year-old girl | News from Lucknow

Lucknow: A case of luring a 20-year-old girl, kidnapping On Sunday it came to light that she was murdered, sexually exploited and then sold twice for money.
The victim somehow managed to escape from the clutches of the accused and get home. When her relatives heard about her ordeal, they were shocked. Thakurganj Police have initiated proceedings following the victim’s complaint and arrested three defendants.
According to reports, on October 20 last year, accused Prakash lured a girl from Thakurganj. He held her hostage for two days, raped her and then sold her to Kamal Kapoor, a resident of Biswan, Sitapur. Kamal allegedly exploited her for several days and when she became pregnant, he sold her to Sarwan Yadav, a resident of Sohaliya village, Sitapur. It is further alleged that Sarwan and his friend Awadhesh raped the girl and locked her in a room.
The girl claimed that Sarwan and Awadhesh tied her up with a rope before rape her. When she protested, they beat her with the rope and a stick. Awadhesh's sister Rekha and Sarwan's elder brother also beat her. On the night of September 10, when it was raining heavily, she managed to escape from captivity.
Later, a case was filed against Prakash, Kamal Kumar, Sarwan Yadav, Awadhesh's sister Rekha and Sarwan's elder brother. Inspector Shrikant Rai said the accused Prakash, Kamal Kumar and Sarwan Yadav have been arrested and an investigation is underway.
