Albany police investigate sexual assault on Fuller Road

Albany police told us they are investigating a sexual assault reported Saturday.

They say it happened in the area of ​​Six Mile Park at 135 Fuller Road in Albany.

The officers arrived at the crime scene at around 5:20 p.m.

When police arrived, they found that the female victim was in a vehicle at the time of the attack.

According to police, she managed to free herself from the vehicle and get help.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene. He was described as a black male, 5'7″ tall and believed to be driving a gray 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander.

The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital for further treatment, police said.
