Mumbai Nair Hospital professor suspended for allegedly harassing medical student

An associate professor at the public-sector Nair Hospital in Mumbai Central has been suspended for allegedly sexually harassing a medical student, an official said on Sunday.

He was suspended on Saturday and a citizens' committee is investigating the incident, the official said.

Actions would be taken based on the findings of this inquiry committee, the official added.
