Man dies when his bike hits a crowd attending Onam celebrations in TVM

Thiruvananthapuram: One person was killed when a motorcycle carrying three people sped into a crowd celebrating Onam at Sasthavattom in Mangalapuram on Sunday evening. The deceased is Siju from Sasthavattom. The speeding motorcycle hit Siju as he was watching the Onam celebrations. Though he was rushed to the hospital, Siju could not be saved.

Roshan from Perunguzhi, who was driving the motorcycle, suffered serious injuries while the other two escaped with minor injuries.

In another incident, a motorcyclist met a tragic end after he lost control of his bike and crashed into a tree on a divider near Infosys in Kazhakoottam. The deceased is Anuraj (27), a native of Poundkadavu. Two other persons who sustained serious injuries in the incident have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.
