What’s new with the Chicago Bears?

The Bears will face the Houston Texans on Sunday night in Week 2, looking to build on their encouraging defensive performance and improve after a rough outing on offense. One of the biggest questions concerns the status of receivers Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, who are officially questionable for Sunday's game. Allen is dealing with a heel injury (and hasn't practiced all week), while Odunze suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain (and was limited on Friday).

Bears vs. Texans, Week 2 Injury Report: Friday

There is encouraging news for Chicago's offense, as wide receivers Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen are questionable. After suffering a grade I MCL sprain last Sunday, Odunze was a limited participant in Friday's practice, suggesting he may still play. Allen, meanwhile, has not practiced all week after re-suffering a heel injury, but he has been listed as questionable, so his participation could very well not be determined until game time.
