A dispute escalates at the sports field in Karlovy Vary

Carlsbad – During a violent argument in Karlsbad near Karlsruhe, two young men sustained several stab wounds.

The bloody incident occurred on Saturday night at around 1:20 a.m. at the sports field in Karlsbad-Langensteinbach.

As the police announced on Sunday, an argument involving several people is said to have broken out there for reasons unknown.

As a result, two men, aged 18 and 19, sustained multiple stab wounds and both had to be treated in hospital.

Fortunately, there is no danger to life in either case. An immediate manhunt, which also involved a police helicopter, was successful.

Two suspected perpetrators, aged 20 and 22, were arrested that night. The criminal investigation into possible further progress is currently still ongoing.
