Tragic bath in the Ganges: One teenager dies, another is missing

In a tragic incident on Sunday morning, two minor boys were swept away while bathing in the river Ganges in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, police reports said. One of the boys, aged 15, was later found dead, while the other remains missing.

Authorities reported that a team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was immediately dispatched to the scene to launch a search and rescue operation. The river was flooded due to recent rains, making search operations difficult.

Authorities confirmed the recovery of Ishaan Biljwan's body while the search for Deepesh Rawat continues. The two boys, who live in the Beas Bigha area, were among a group of six friends who had ventured into the river for a swim.
