Five-year contract with RTL

In a press release published at the same time by RTL, it said: “This is the beginning of a collaboration between RTL and Stefan Raab that will last at least five years. Raab said goodbye to his active television career at the end of 2015, and his last public appearance was at a trade fair in 2017.

There was speculation not only about what Raab looked like, as he was now training and getting fit, but also about what he was planning to do after the boxing match. In the clips he wore a cap with the words “NWSDWH” written on it, which caused a lot of speculation. On Saturday evening he revealed that it was originally supposed to be the abbreviation for the new show, but that the name had then been changed. The letters were even hand-painted on the cap.
