Man from Ada charged with child pornography

ADA, Oklahoma (KXII) – An Ada man was arrested for possession of 95 files containing pornographic child sexual abuse material.

The indictment states that 40-year-old Chance Branscum owned a desktop computer with these materials stored in a folder. The device also contained a 3D gaming headset containing child pornography.

During a search of Branscum's property, investigators seized ten items, including his Apple iPhone.

Branscum's arrest on August 22 was the result of a joint operation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office.
