Mark Ingram trolls Wisconsin fans with Alabama prediction on Fox's “Big Noon Kickoff”

When it came time for Fox's “Big Noon Kickoff” team to make picks for Saturday's game between Wisconsin and No. 4 Alabama, there was little doubt who Mark Ingram would select.

Nevertheless, the former Crimson Tide running back managed to make the game interesting.

In front of thousands of Badgers fans gathered outside Camp Randall Stadium, where “Big Noon Kickoff” was being broadcast, Ingram poked fun at the assembled Wisconsin faithful.

Not only did he name his former school, but Ingram also addressed the crowd and added some flair to his prediction by holding up an Alabama helmet and making a few comments on the topic.

“You know why it has 18 on the helmet? Because that's the number of Natties we have,” Ingram said, referring to the Tide's number of national championships. “18 Natties. Roll Tide, baby.”

Ingram, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner who played 12 seasons in the NFL, also put on the helmet as he continued his speech.

“I know you don't love me, but you have to respect me,” said Ingram, who also expressed his love for Madison, which he said has “wonderful people” and a “beautiful campus.”

Each of the four members of the Big Noon Kickoff panel — which also includes Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn — predicted Alabama to win. Interestingly, Ingram predicted the smallest margin, picking the Tide by 18.
