Liberal Democrats are 'pretty vulgar', says Farage as activists prepare to chant 'B—–ks to Brexit'

Nigel Farage, the Reform leader and MP for Clacton, said of the song: “For a party that always pretends to be nice, it seems pretty vulgar to me.”

The Liberal Democrats did not rule out a possible rejoining of the European Union and had promised to cancel Brexit in the 2019 election, in which they received only 11 MPs.

While rejoining the bloc is no longer one of the party's top political priorities, it has committed to rejoining the single market as part of a four-stage plan for closer relations.

On Saturday, the Liberal Democrats called on Sir Keir Starmer to negotiate with the European Union on a youth mobility programme, for which the government says there are “no plans”.

They claimed it would be “common sense” to extend a program that currently exists for countries such as Australia and Japan to all 27 EU member states.

The anti-Brexit song goes on to reference Liberal Democrat policies, including the abolition of the House of Lords and the legalisation of cannabis, joking: “We swear about that too.”

MPs and Commons will be singing: “We'll fire the f***ing Lords, smoke f***ing legal weed and you can take the majority vote and shove it up your a—.”
