GRandios was the show premiere of the award-winning Circus Charles Knie on Wednesday afternoon in Tiengen on the festival grounds on the Wutach. Every two years, Germany's second largest touring circus delights the audience in Waldshut-Tiengen with its varied and creative show. The new, state-of-the-art program is unique, breathtaking and spectacular.

The show for the whole family takes the audience to a white beach and into the turquoise sea. And that's no exaggeration, because with around 100,000 liters of water catapulted up to 15 meters high and a colorful sea of lights, the arena becomes an underwater spectacle of a very special kind.

And they don't have this title for nothing: riding a unicycle, Dimitri balances a pole on which Nancy performs her acrobatics. And then it's back to daring heights: the Colombian tightrope artists “Truppe Robles” cross the thin wire at a height of ten meters without any additional safety equipment. All seven members of the troupe cross the wire at the same time – a world record. The audience is left breathless.

A young visitor reported after the performance: “The show was simply great!” So colorful and funny. Can I come again tomorrow?”
