Next week on HollyoaksWe meet the residents again a year after the tragic events in the village and a lot has changed. Tony visits a grave, while Mercedes struggles as a single mother and Vicky and Sienna are at loggerheads.

Here's a full recap of what to expect from the highly anticipated time jump and this exciting new era Hollyoaks.

1. Tony is the center of attention

Viewers will experience four seasons passing outside of “The Dog in the Pond” as the series jumps one year into the future.

Tony looks around the pub and looks at the old photos on the wall as his family gets ready for the day. Did all of his loved ones survive the motorcycle accident?

Tony walks through the village and passes other residents, revealing clues about the events of the last year.

2. Villagers mourn the victims

There is a lot of activity at Casa McQueen as the McQueens prepare for the evening's party. But for some, it will be a difficult day.

Tony buys some flowers from Sienna to place on a grave as he pays his respects. The Osbornes and the Lomaxes also stand solemnly at the grave. Who lost their life?

3. The wedding bells are ringing

For some, the anniversary of the disaster is a heavy blow, but other residents are thinking about it.

Love is in the air, a couple celebrates their engagement.

4. Mercedes fights

Mercedes feels the burden of this tragic day.

As a single mother, she is struggling with the events of the last 12 months, but she is determined to carry on, even though she has twins to care for and a business to run.

5. Tony visits the hospital

Tony heads to the hospital and visits a patient who is being cared for by doctors. He looks like the weight of the world is on his shoulders when he is told there is still no news.

Later, however, you are relieved when you bring a familiar face by.

6. New life beckons

Tony puts on a brave face and makes a toast at the party at Casa McQueen. In his speech, he admits that it's been a rough year, but they've managed to weather the storm.

At the party, another couple decides to take the next step in their relationship. Another resident goes into labor and the Lomaxes rush to the hospital. Who is going to be a mother soon?

Later, the young mother wants to concentrate on her career and her father is faced with an important decision.

7. Vicky and Sienna are at war

Vicky has had an eventful year in terms of her love life, having clashed with Sienna, who isn't thrilled that she's now a kept woman.

Sienna warns Vicky that she should be afraid of her, if she isn't already. Has Vicky made a new enemy?

8. A secret relationship is revealed

The Lomaxes meet in the hospital and celebrate their new life full of hope. But everything soon goes wrong when a secret relationship comes to light.

The family is divided on the matter, but the newlyweds do not let this disapproval stop them from enriching their relationship. But when they take the next step, the first cracks appear.

9. A patient makes a discovery

A patient has barely survived the devastating effects of the last year and is now undergoing a long recovery period. He is finally making progress, but soon he will find that his life will never be the same again.

Meanwhile, another resident is having a hard time putting the events of the last few months behind him. He becomes violent and lashes out.

10. Frankie wants justice

The Osbornes are trying to rebuild their lives after the catastrophic accident last year.

They hope that justice will finally be served for JJ's abuse of Frankie, but things have changed and they don't know what is best.

11. Someone’s past is revealed

A patient recovering in the hospital learns who has been sitting at his bedside for the past year. He is surprised and can hardly believe that this person has changed his life.

Viewers learn more about the past of these residents and it is revealed that they have shocking connections to the village.

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday, premiering on Channel 4 at 7pm, followed by a broadcast on E4 at 7pm the same evening. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their release on Channel 4.
