Imran Khan blames the military for the disappearance of the Communist Party Prime Minister and launches devastating attacks

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday accused the military of orchestrating the eight-hour disappearance of his party colleague, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, a incident that prompted the Pakistani government to investigate Khan's anti-army social media posts.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was reportedly missing for at least eight hours after delivering a speech critical of the army leadership last Monday. Although official statements cited a law-and-order meeting in Islamabad as the reason for his absence, Khan pointed the finger at the military establishment while speaking to reporters in Adiala Jail.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar confirmed that the Cybercrime Division of the Pakistan Investigation Agency would question Khan over his anti-institutional tweets. Khan, who has been in jail since last year, has been a frequent critic of the establishment and claimed that a powerful elite is undermining Pakistan's institutions. He also drew parallels with historical events and criticized the military's influence on the country's democratic processes.
