Stabbing in Durham: Man dies, woman injured

Durham police are investigating a murder after two people were stabbed to death early Friday morning.

According to ABC11, The News & Observer's news partner, police were called to Maryland Avenue just before 1 a.m.

A male victim succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, while a female victim was treated by emergency medical services for non-life-threatening injuries, ABC11 reported.

Investigators said the stabbing was an isolated incident. The name and age of the male victim were not released.
