Man (33) to appear in court over series of assaults and attacks on cars in Armagh – Armagh I

A man is due to appear in court on Friday morning following a series of assaults and car attacks in Armagh earlier this week.

Police investigated a report of assault and property damage to several vehicles in the city and have charged a 33-year-old man.

He is accused of six cases of property damage, disturbing the peace, bodily harm, four cases of attacking police officers and causing a public nuisance.

The charge relates to a report in the Moy Road and Lonsdale Road areas of Armagh on Wednesday, September 11. He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Friday, September 13.

All charges will be reviewed by the public prosecutor as usual.
