ARD makes fatal mistake in popular Bommes show – fans angry

At ARD, one format in particular has been delighting audiences for over ten years: “Gefragt – Gejagt”. The station broadcasts the show “Wer weiß denn sowas?” every evening at 6 p.m. in its early evening program. As always, four candidates have to prove themselves against the quiz elite. This does not always prove to be an easy task and regularly creates tension.

In addition to the broadcast on TV, die-hard fans no longer have to miss out on the quiz if they missed it. Each episode is available online in the media library.

At least that's usually the case in autumn. Because the current episode on September 12th is a bitter disappointment for fans. An unusual faux pas on the part of the ARD immediately causes discontent.

ARD publishes fake “Gefragt – Gejagt” episode in the media library

When you look at the media library, you first see a picture of the latest episode and its four candidates. The video caption also suggests that this is the recording from last Thursday evening. However, once you click on the clip, it becomes clear that something seems to be completely wrong.

Because instead of the cast from the previous picture, completely different candidates are suddenly sitting in their place. The names also do not match those in the description. A mistake that fans of the popular show also noticed. They then expressed their confusion about the incorrect upload on the show's Instagram account.

“Unfortunately not in the media library. It's a photo from today, but then an old episode comes up,” writes a user, visibly disappointed, under the latest post from “Gefragt – Gejagt”. And she is not alone with her comment. Other followers are also complaining about the blunder. It says:

In the meantime, the broadcaster has responded to its patcher and fixed it. Instead of the wrong, old episode, viewers now find the current recording from the previous day.

“Gefragt – Gejagt” special lets celebrities compete against quiz elite

It was only on September 7th that the show started with a special edition hosted by Alexander Bommes. This time, prominent candidates had to face the hunters. In the direct battle of knowledge, they had to prove not only their brains but also their nerves of steel.

They competed together in teams and played for a good cause. One group in particular scored points in the end. Ingo Appelt, Lisa Feller, Katharina Wackernagel and Edin Hasanovic not only prevailed against the “quiz god” Sebastian Jacoby, but was also able to win prize money of 66,500 euros.

Elections will take place in the USA on November 5th and the mood is already extremely heated. On Wednesday night, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris met for the first and probably only TV debate before the vote.
