ImOn releases statement on electric shock during house move in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – ImOn has released a statement confirming that the person who died from electrocution during a house move in Iowa City on Wednesday was an ImOn employee.

Shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, emergency crews were called to the area of ​​Herbert Hoover Highway and Eastbury Drive because a victim had been electrocuted while being transported from a home.

The victim was taken to hospital but did not survive.

In a statement from ImOn's Vice President of Marketing, Cynthia Huber, did not name the victim but confirmed that she was an ImOn employee.

The explanation is as follows:

This is a heartbreaking loss for the ImOn Communications family and our thoughts are with her family, friends and colleagues at this incredibly difficult time.
