Montreal police search for suspect wanted for sexual acts against minors

The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) is searching for a suspect who may have committed indecent acts and allegedly sexually abused a minor on a bus in Mount Royal last April.

On April 11, at around 4:45 p.m., the suspect is alleged to have committed sexual acts against a minor while traveling on bus 165 Côte-des-Neiges.

The suspect allegedly performed a sexual act in front of the victim before following her off the bus and then sexually touching her.

Police are looking for a white man in his twenties who speaks English.

On the day of the incident, he was seen with short hair and a stubble beard.

He wore a light turquoise hoodie with a cube pattern on the back and baggy jeans.

Anyone with information about these incidents should call 911, the local police department or the SQ Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264. The public can communicate anonymously and confidentially with Info-Crime Montreal by calling 514-393-1133 or completing the reporting form available on the website.

The SPVM may also offer a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
