Why Swifties are attacking Dave Grohl after his paternity scandal

For Taylor Swift, “karma is a relaxing thought,” but for some, that may not be the case.

Following Dave Grohl's revelation on Tuesday, September 10, that he is the father of a child out of wedlock, Swifties believe this brings things full circle.

In June, during a Foo Fighters performance at the London Stadium, 55-year-old Grohl – the band's singer – apologized in advance for any mistakes the band would make during the performance. Grohl apparently alluded to Swift's Epoch tourwhich took place at the same time in the nearby Wembley Stadium.

“We like to call our tour the Error Toursaid Grohl. “We've had more than a few eras and more than a few damn mistakes. Just a few. That's because we actually play live.”

While some believe Grohl was speaking in general terms, others believe it was an insult to Swift, 34. Three months after the act, Swifties believe the universe is serving him a plate of karma.

“Dave Grohl proved himself to be an evil person when he acted like a jerk about Taylor Swift. So it's karma when a child is born out of wedlock right?” said one Swiftie on X (formerly Twitter).

“Dave Grohl came for Taylor only to make an announcement about his affair with his baby a few months later LMFAO he must have been battling his own demons,” said another fan.

In light of the Grohl news, some believe that his alleged criticism of Swift may have been due to insecurity.

“We now know why Dave Grohl doesn't like Taylor Swift. She writes songs about men like him,” said one fan.

At the time of this writing, Grohl has not posted on social media since the announcement.
