Sensation at ARD! Broadcaster cuts “Carolin Kebekus Show”

Cologne – After her maternity leave, Carolin Kebekus (44) will be back on air at “ARD” in a few weeks – but a little different than before.

The new season of the comedy show will start on October 24th with ten episodes on Das Erste. It will be “more compact, with strong comedy content and lots of music,” says “ARD” in a press release.

What the broadcaster means by this is that the show's broadcast time will be reduced in the new season. In future, an episode will only last 30 minutes. Before the comedienne's maternity leave, it was 45 minutes.

In addition, the broadcast slot for the 44-year-old will also become less prominent. In future, the comedy show will only be shown from 11.35 p.m., previously it usually started at 10.50 p.m.

Despite all the changes, the Cologne native is looking forward to her comeback on television: “I can hardly wait for things to finally get going again after the long break – and it will be a lot of fun: with new ideas, great topics and fantastic guests like Anke Engelke and Laura Larsson.
