Luxembourg: Major checks on public transport – drug-sniffing dogs frequently respond

LUXEMBOURG. According to the Police Grand-Ducale, on the night of September 9th to September 10th, between 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., the police carried out a large-scale check in the south of the country, focusing on public transport.

As part of this control were found in around 8 people who were detected by the drug detection dog. Warnings and reports were issued for drugs found and charges were made.

In a Train between Bettembourg and Rodange The drug-sniffing dog reacted to another man, who was found to be carrying 37 bags of cannabis. The suspect was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor.
