The latest update for Dead by Daylight will be released on September 11th and will bring price reductions for original characters as well as various adjustments

Starting September 11th, Behaviour Interactive will be reducing the price of the original eight characters in the game. This will be implemented with a title update called version 8.2.2. On consoles, this will appear as Dead by Daylight update version 3.27 on last generation and version 8.200.200 on current generation.

Important

  • Starting September 12, we're reducing the prices of eight of our original characters: Ace Visconti, Feng Min, Kate Denson, Adam Francis, The Hag, The Doctor, The Clown, and The Spirit. These characters will now cost 125 AC/$1.25 USD.
  • For this reason, we are also reducing the price of our Maddening Darkness DLC pack to $9.99.

Killer updates

The Nemesis – Addons

  • Tongue Licker
    Survivors are disabled for an additional second after contamination. (was 3 seconds)

Note: The Nemesis's “hinder” effect was much less than intended. This was fixed with this update so that the Licker Tongue add-on could be adjusted accordingly.

The Dark Lord

  • Movement speed in bat form changed to 6.5 m/s (previously 6.0 m/s)
  • Teleport speed changed to 12.0 m/s (previously 10.0 m/s)
  • Shapeshift cooldown changed to 2.5 seconds (was 5.0 seconds).
  • Magic Ticket Add-on: Reduced to 10% to compensate for increased teleport speed (was 25%)

Bug fixes

Audio

  • Fixed missing idle sounds on The Dredge.
  • Fixed missing Halloween theme for Michael Myers.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dark Lord's charging flame pillar sound could not be heard from the Survivor perspective.

Characters

  • Fixed an issue where the Trickster was missing some facial animations in the lobby.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Dark Lord's Traveling Hat add-on to not work.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed the Dark Lord to attack while transformed.
  • Fixed a collision issue related to the Dark Lord's jump attack.
  • Fixed an issue where Nemesis' Tentacle Strike was applying the incorrect Disabled value to Survivors.

Surroundings/Maps

  • Fixed an issue in the Family Mansion where the excavator would get stuck in a locker
  • Fixed an issue in Eyrie of Crows where the Killer cannot grab from the side of a generator
  • Fixed an issue in Toba Landing where the nurse could blink on a stone pillar.
  • Fixed an issue in the Raccoon City Police Station where a character could land on a lamp when jumping over it.
  • Fixed an issue in Nostromo Wreckage that allowed the Nurse to blink through the bottom of two ledges beneath the main building.
  • Fixed an issue in Toba Landing where fog covered the ceiling and stairs in the basement, obscuring visibility.
  • Continuation of global collision cleanup for all maps
  • Fixed a window in the Decimated Borgo that could not be interacted with properly.

Advantages

  • Fixed an issue where the Fire Up bonus would not receive tokens when a bot completed a generator.
