Carolin Kebekus is known for her pithy sayings and strong commitment to feminism. Now there are details about her show.

Dortmund – The program of the local TV station is never set in stone. For example, ARD changes its TV program because of an acute crisis. But that's not all: Das Erste is bringing one of the most successful comedians in this country, Carolin Kebekus, back to television.

Like RTL presenter Charlotte Maihoff last year, Kebekus is also returning after a maternity leave. Together with her team, she has revised and modernized the format of “The Carolin Kebekus Show”. From October 24, 2024, there will be ten new episodes that will be available every Thursday from 8:15 p.m. in the ARD Mediathek. By comparison: last year there were only seven episodes.

The new concept of the show also provides for a more compact running time: in future, each episode will only be 30 minutes long. The usual comedy slot on Das Erste will be retained, and so “DCKS” will now be broadcast on Thursday evenings at 11.35 p.m. on Das Erste in the evening.

In addition, the shows will be repeated on Fridays after the Cologne meeting on WDR television and from November 28th on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ARD ONE. In addition to the well-known comedy elements, musical content will also play a larger role in order to appeal even more to the audience.

Carolin Kebekus is looking forward to the new season: “I can hardly wait for it to finally start again after the long break – and it will be a lot of fun: with new ideas, great topics and fantastic guests like Anke Engelke and Laura Larsson.”
