TD leaders attack JS leaders

A video clip has surfaced purportedly showing TD leader Shanku Srinu attacking JS leaders Yarramsetti Nani and Sayana Srinivas Rao. In the footage, Srinu is seen forcing the JS leaders to prostrate before him and apologise for tearing down a banner in Machilipatnam. The dispute started when JS leaders Yarramsetti Nani and Sayana Srinivas Rao removed a banner put up by TD leaders in Parasupet, Machilipatnam. The banner bore greetings for Vinayaka Chavithi festival but no pictures of JS leaders. In retaliation, TD supporters led by Srinu removed a banner put up by Shanku Srinu two days earlier. The situation escalated when TD cadres raided Yarramsetti Nani's house, assaulted him and forced both Nani and Srinivas Rao to apologise. After the incident, both JS and TD have filed a complaint with Chilakalapudi police.
