Former AstraZeneca sales representative settles vaccine discrimination lawsuit

A former AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP A sales representative rightly claimed that she was fired after the company denied her request for a religious exemption from the Covid-19 vaccination requirement.

The pharmaceutical company argued that the former employee's objections were actually personal and not religious in nature. However, the employee linked her Catholic faith to her refusal to be vaccinated, so her case for religious discrimination could continue, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma said on Monday.
