Suspect named in connection with stabbing at CATA station

LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – Lansing police have released the name and mugshot of the suspect in a stabbing incident at a Lansing bus station.

Bobby Joe Holmes, 44, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after a man was stabbed at a CATA station on September 5.

According to Lansing police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 400 block of South Grand Street just after 5 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man with minor stab wounds.

Holmes, a Lansing resident, will have a probable cause hearing on Sept. 20 at 8:30 a.m. and a preliminary hearing before Judge Flores in 54-A District Court on Sept. 27 at 8:30 a.m.
