100 percent survival rate in car accidents in 16 years of customer data collected by Sleepypod

Since launching its pet car safety restraints in 2008, Sleepypod has not recorded a single death or injury in a car accident.

Under the program, any Sleepypod product used by a pet in a car accident can be returned to Sleepypod and replaced with a new product at no charge.

“Since the introduction of our pet car safety restraints in 2008, Sleepypod has been committed to protecting pets from the moment of impact and continuing to provide safety afterward with our Crash Replacement Program,” said Michael Leung, co-founder and lead product designer at Sleepypod.

All Sleepypod carriers and car harnesses are equipped with a carefully designed Pet Passenger Restraint System (PPRS) that secures a pet in the vehicle and limits dangerous movements caused by a sudden vehicle stop or head-on collision.
