News from Bihar: BJP leader Shyam Sundar shot dead in Patna

In Patna, a BJP politician was shot dead by assailants early on Monday morning. The incident took place near Manoj Kamaliya Gate, near Mangla Talab area. The victim, identified as BJP politician Shyam Sundar, also known as Munna Sharma, was attacked around 4 am. The gunfire triggered a significant shock in the city. According to reports, Shyam Sundar, a former BJP Patna City Chowk district leader, was attacked when he reached near the gate. Police were alerted around 6 am and found that Shyam Sundar had been taken to a hospital by his relatives, where he was declared dead on arrival. Authorities are currently studying CCTV footage captured nearby and conducting a thorough investigation to unravel the motives and culprits behind this attack.
