Netflix cancels audience favorite: It's over after one season

The series revolves around the Dead Boy Detective Agency in London. Charles and Edwin – who themselves died tragically – help ghosts to enter the afterlife and save the medium Crystal Palace from her demonic ex-boyfriend. Together, as a trio, they solve cases that take them from London to Port Townsend, Washington. In the last episode, the lost Girl Scout Becky Aspen is saved from an evil witch, but unfortunately the detective group has to accept a terrible loss in the process.

Netflix was able to achieve good, but not outstanding, viewing figures with the format. Nevertheless, the horror series received a rating of over 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, among others. Unfortunately, Netflix did not end up with another season.
