Man arrested for alleged sexual assault in Noida school

Noida police have arrested a man named Kalu Thakur alias Aamir for sexually abusing a six-year-old girl in a private school, officials confirmed on Monday.

The local court has remanded Thakur in judicial custody for 14 days. The incident took place on September 3 at a private school in Sector 12, where Thakur allegedly committed the act while the girl was sitting on his lap. The young victim later confided in her class teacher and the school principal.

According to Dhruv Bhushan Dubey, in-charge of Sector 24 police station, the school staff, including the principal, a teacher, the supervisor and a job agent, conspired to help Thakur evade arrest. All those involved have been arrested, Thakur was arrested from Shimla Park, Sector 12 on Sunday.
