Ukrainian drones attack six districts of Belgorod region within one day – Russian politics and diplomacy

BELGOROD, September 9. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have attacked six districts of the Belgorod region with 18 drones over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

“In Belgorod district, the settlements of Dubovoye, Maysky, Zhuravlevka, Nechayevka, Nikolskoye and Shagarovka were attacked with six ammunition units and three drones, one of which was shot down by air defense. A private house, a car and a hangar of a manufacturing enterprise were damaged,” he wrote.

A drone and eleven missiles were fired at Borisovsky and Krasnoyaruzsky districts, damaging one private house. In Belgorod, the attacks hit nine residential buildings, four private houses and two office buildings. Twelve cars were hit by shrapnel.

In the Valuesky district, three drones attacked two settlements. Two private houses, an administrative building and a car were damaged. “In the Grayvoronsky district, five ammunition rounds and three drones were fired at the settlements of Gorkovsky, Dronovka, Novostroevka-Pervaya and Poros in a shelling attack,” Gladkov said, adding that two private houses, two cars and a truck were damaged there.

According to the governor, seven settlements in Shebekinsky district were attacked with 15 grenades and seven drones. Two private houses, a garage, the facility of a manufacturing enterprise and a car were damaged. In Volokonovsky district, 11 grenades and a drone attacked the peasant community of Stary. The drone attack on a fuel depot sparked a fire, which was subsequently extinguished by the fire brigade.
