Prichard police investigating August attack as homicide after victim dies

PRICHARD, Alabama (WALA) – Prichard police are investigating an attack as a homicide after investigators say the victim died.

According to police, the attack occurred at the end of August.

It happened in the 600 block of E. Turner Road.

Investigators believe a man was attacked by someone last week and died in hospital.

Prichard police did not say whether the suspect or person is suspected.

The victim has not yet been identified.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office crime scene investigators assisted.
