22-year-old man arrested for assault in Malta

Zachary R. Christie, 22, was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office on August 30 for an assault that occurred on May 31 in Malta.

He is accused of intentionally inflicting bodily harm on another person with a deadly weapon or dangerous object, officials said.

The attack occurred on Sparrow Drive.

According to authorities, he was charged with second-degree assault.

Christie was arraigned in Saratoga County District Court on September 3 and remanded in custody pending further action in the matter.
