Tragic electrocution incident in Madhya Pradesh

A tragic accident occurred in Balaghat district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, killing two people and two bullocks. The incident occurred when a makeshift metal shed being transported on a bullock cart came into contact with a live wire, authorities said.

According to Chhatrapal Singh Bains, in-charge of Kirnapur police station, the victims, Vitthal Khairwar and Dugesh Panche, were electrocuted after the shed touched an 11-kV line. Another person sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital.

Khara Sarpanch Rajendra Bopche pointed out that the power line was unusually low and cited this as the cause of the accident.
