Benin, Edo State – 18-year-old Kingdom Paul was arrested for stabbing his 38-year-old lover Victory Oro to death in a hotel in Benin City, Edo State.

It was revealed that the tragic incident occurred at a local cabin where Paul and Oro were planning to have sex on Thursday, September 5.

State police spokesman SP Moses Joel Yamu said the teenager stabbed the woman during an argument after they finished having sex.

As reported by The Punch, Yamu said the victim was taken to a hospital on Upper Ekenwan Road where he died and his body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

“On 05.09.2024 at around 12:00 noon, agents of the Evbuotubu Division acting on information arrested a certain Kingdom Paul ‘m’ (18 years old) who stabbed a woman named Victory Oro ‘f (38 years old) to death in a hut where they were staying for fun.

“The victim was immediately rushed to the Supreme Hospital in Upper Ekenwan where she died. Her body has been taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Investigations are ongoing.”

The teenager confessed to the crime and said he attacked the woman despite previously agreeing to pay her 2,000 naira for the encounter, The Sun reports.

Paul made this statement on Friday, September 6, when he was paraded outside the police command headquarters in Benin City.

In the meantime, Legit.ng reported that Edo State Police officers arrested a teenage local doctor for killing his client.

The 19-year-old self-proclaimed local doctor shot his client while testing bulletproof charms in Edo State.

State police spokesman SP Moses Yamu said the teenager was expected to face prosecution once investigations were completed.
