Thief steals twelve traffic signs

Due to a closed forest path in the western part of the Mertingen Forest, the municipality of Mertingen put up a diversion sign. An unknown perpetrator stole a total of twelve different traffic signs along the diversion route between August 26 and 29, according to the police. The corresponding posts and base plates were not taken away, however. The material damage caused is estimated at around 3,000 euros.
