Ithaca Police Respond to Reports of a Suspect Exhibiting Sexually Explicit Behavior

ITHACA, NY (WBNG) — Ithaca Police responded to reports of disturbing acts toward victims on Sept. 5 without their consent.

A call came in to the Ithaca Police Department around 9 p.m. and a second at 10 p.m.

Both victims, who did not know each other, claimed they witnessed very similar disturbing actions by a man who was similarly described, according to Ithaca police.

The victims, both students, were at home when the alleged crimes occurred. One house was on University Avenue, the other on Delaware Avenue. Both described seeing an unknown man standing outside their windows engaging in sexually explicit behavior.

The suspect is described as a clean-shaven white man in his twenties to thirties.

No further information is being released at this time, but the Ithaca Police Department is working with Cornell University Campus Police to arrest the suspect.
