Sexual assaulter attacked woman near supermarket – News from Brighton and Hove

A man followed a woman and sexually assaulted her, Sussex police said.

Police said: “Police are appealing for information after a woman reported being sexually assaulted by a man on New England Street, Brighton, at around 9.40pm on Sunday 11 August.”

“The man reportedly followed the woman as she walked along New England Street near Sainsbury's.

“He is described as a teenager, of slim build and approximately 1.80 m tall.

“He was wearing a plain white tracksuit and sneakers.

“If you saw anything or have any information or footage from the area, we ask you to contact police online or call 101 quoting reference number 231 of 24/08.”
