Suspect arrested for car theft in Linthicum

LINTHICUM, Md. – A 24-year-old Brodnax, Virginia man was arrested following a car theft at the Royal Farms Store on Pinnacle Drive late on September 5, 2024.

At around 11:40 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle when she was approached by a male suspect, later identified as Jayvon Justin Pierce-Russell. The suspect displayed a gun, threatened the woman and demanded her car keys. After the victim complied, the suspect fled in her white 2008 Honda Accord.

The victim and her friend followed the stolen vehicle and reported its location to Baltimore Police, who quickly located the car and arrested Pierce-Russell. He was then turned over to Anne Arundel County Police and charged with auto theft.
