Leyla collapses after an overdose

Luneburg – Has she gambled away her future? In the ARD telenovela”Red roses” Leyla (played by Alinda Yamaci, 21) is facing a dramatic turn in her life.

As can be seen in the preview, she is reading an article about the German Olympians. She herself had a big dream of being there, but an accident changed everything for her. Leyla even had to end her career, something she is now painfully aware of again.

Accordingly, her mood sinks to the bottom and she takes out her frustration on those around her. She continues to look for a new kick in her life and announces a spectacular video online.

When she is offered drugs while visiting a club, she cannot resist the temptation. Eventually, more and more followers on her profile turn away from her. Instead of completely uninhibitedly completing the next test of courage, Leyla collapses with heart problems. She has a heart attack!

Simon (Thore Lüthje, 31) of all people saves her. In the hospital, Leyla naturally tried to cover up her drug use by any means possible, but Simon appeals to her conscience. Finally, she comes clean to her parents. The shock is great, but Jördis (Diana Staehly46) and Mo (Yunus Cumartpay, 45) promise to be there for her.

Leyla is very relieved when she learns that her heart was not damaged by the heart attack. She is really looking forward to the next online session. However, she doesn't tell her followers about the overdose and the heart attack; she tells them that it was just a fainting spell. The “Heideecho” newspaper, however, found out about it and wrote a nasty article about her drug use. Leyla was exposed as a liar!

Once again, the ground was pulled out from under her feet. She knows full well that she has gambled away her future with her drug abuse.
